Muvize v2.0 — Faster, Cleaner, and Refocused

Muvize v2.0 is a fresh foundation. We streamlined the platform to focus on what matters most: powerful audio visualizers, sleek new text animations, GPU shader effects, smoother playback, and a cleaner, unified design.

New Text Animations & Visual Effects

We are giving you way more creative control over how your videos look and feel.

15 New Text Animation Effects

Bring titles and lyrics to life with a brand-new Text Animation system. You can now apply per-character styles directly to your text clips, including:

  • Typewriter & Count Up: Dynamic text reveals and numerical counters.
  • Jumble & Wave: Playful character scrambling and animated sine-wave bounces.
  • Directional & Radial Reveals: Clean geometric wipe-ins from any direction.
  • Transform Effects: Per-character scaling, rotating, and Gaussian blurring.
  • Rainbow: Dynamic cycling color shifts across your text over time.

GPU Shader Effects (Retro & Stylized FX)

Give your whole composition an stylized post-processing look using the new Shaders tab. These run directly on your GPU for smooth performance:

  • Glitch: Cyberpunk-style horizontal slice displacement and color channel splitting.
  • Rainy: Rain on glass, complete with realistic atmospheric fog and thunder flashes.
  • VHS & Interlaced: Nostalgic analog video noise, tracking glitches, and CRT scanlines.
  • Old TV: Classic curved-screen broadcast look.

Every shader effect includes controls for speed, intensity, fade-ins, and fade-outs, and they all render smoothly in both live previews and final video exports.

7 New WebGL Visualizers (21 Total)

We have expanded our visualizer suite to 21 total dynamic templates with seven new GPU-accelerated additions:

  • Fire & Flames: Procedural fire, embers, and customizable flame noise that react dynamically to your audio's intensity and bass.
  • Snow & Fire Flakes: Layered winter snowfall with wind sway, or glowing Voronoi-based particle embers.
  • Warp Speed: High-energy space particle bursts with comet tails that trigger on bass hits.
  • Lasers: Volumetric light beams with customizable fan, converge, and zigzag modes.
  • Particles & Logo: Floating geometric shapes and audio-reactive logo displacement.

We have also added a dedicated Spectrum mode across all visualizers for tighter, more accurate audio responsiveness.

Studio Workflow & Player Upgrades

  • Visual Animation Picker: Goodbye text dropdowns! Browse entrance, loop, and exit animations with interactive thumbnail grids that play video previews on hover.
  • Faster Playback Performance: The canvas rendering engine received a massive tune-up. Timeline scrubbing, live previews, and complex visualizer playback are noticeably smoother, even on longer projects.
  • Upgraded Video Exports: WebM exports now feature higher-quality VP9 compression and full support for all new GPU shaders and WebGL visualizers.

Smoother Navigation & Design

  • Always-Available Navigation: The sidebar and navigation menu stay easily accessible everywhere—including inside the full-screen Studio editor—making it seamless to jump back to your Library or Dashboard without losing your spot.
  • Fresh Look & Feel: We completely overhauled Muvize’s design system. Buttons, dialogs, sliders, and menus feature higher contrast, clearer indicators, and a clean modern theme throughout.

Updated Lyrics Studio

The Lyrics Studio has been overhauled for easier workflow management:

  • Import & Auto-Transcribe: Upload .srt, .lrc, or .vtt files, or use auto-transcription for fast subtitle generation.
  • Cloud History: Your synced lyrics, transcriptions, and edits now automatically save to your account history so you can pick up where you left off from any device.

Monthly Free Coins Adjustment

To help keep our processing servers running fast and reliably, the free monthly coin grant has been updated to 30 coins per month.

  • Any coins you purchase separately never expire.
  • Free coins refresh automatically on your monthly cycle.

Refocusing the Product: Retired Features

To ensure Muvize delivers the best possible performance for music visualizers and video creation, we have retired five underused features that were pulling resources away from core editor development:

  • Live Streaming
  • Depth Animation (3D photo parallax)
  • Stem Splitter
  • Karaoke Maker

By focusing strictly on our core strength—building world-class audio-visual tools—we can ship updates faster, keep render times low, and build better visual effects.

What’s Next?

All core Muvize tools—the Studio visualizer, local Library management, AI Prompter, YouTube/Spotify URL importing, and automated audio transcription—are ready for you in v2.0.
