Muvize v1.9 — Infrastructure Changes & Improved Lyrics Editor

A quick update on what changed this week.

Streaming Temporarily Unavailable

Due to policy changes and ongoing infrastructure adjustments, the live streaming feature is temporarily disabled. This means you cannot create or run live streams to YouTube, Twitch, or other platforms for now.

The Streaming page and its sidebar link are hidden while the feature is offline. We are working on bringing it back and will announce when it is available again.

Cloud Library Limited to 200 MB

As part of the same infrastructure shift, the cloud library now uses a different storage backend with a 200 MB per-user limit. Uploads, downloads, sync, and file management all continue to work normally — just with a smaller cap than before.

If you are close to the limit, consider removing unused files from your library to free up space.

Better Lyrics Editor with Soniox

The transcription engine powering the lyrics editor in Studio has been swapped from WhisperX to Soniox. This brings noticeably better word-level timing accuracy, especially on fast vocals and multilingual tracks.

If you use the lyrics editor to generate or correct synced lyrics, the results should be tighter and require less manual adjustment. The workflow stays the same — the improvement is under the hood.
