Muvize v1.1 — Media Library & Import from URL
Simplified media workflow for musicians: unified upload, reusable media library, and direct import from YouTube and Spotify URLs.
Muvize v1.1 is here! 🔥
Released just one day after v1.0, this update focuses on making your media workflow simpler and more powerful.
What's New
Unified Media Upload
No more confusion about which button to press for different media types. In v1.1, there's a single upload button that handles all your media — audio files, images, and videos — in one place.
Media Library
Your uploaded media is now saved to a local library in your browser. This means you can:
- Reuse media across projects — No need to re-upload the same track or background image for every new visualizer
- Browse your collection — Quickly find and select from previously uploaded files
- Keep things organized — All your creative assets in one accessible place
> Note: Your media library is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB), not in the cloud. This means your files are private and load instantly, but they're tied to the specific browser and device you're using. Clearing your browser data will delete your library. Your media won't be accessible from other browsers or devices, even if you sign in with the same account.
Import from URL
This is the big one. You can now import songs directly from YouTube or Spotify using the new "Import from URL" feature:
1. Paste a YouTube or Spotify link
2. Muvize extracts the audio
3. Start visualizing immediately
No need to download files separately or convert formats — Muvize handles it all.
Why These Changes
After watching how creators used v1.0, we noticed the media selection step was a friction point. People had great audio but struggled with the upload flow. These three features remove that friction entirely.
Try v1.1 now and feel the difference. If there's a feature you need, let us know — we're building this for you. 😎
